Free Veterinary Services for Active Duty & Veterans in May, 2026



Thanks to the generous financial support provided by the Sunstate Foundation, Planned PEThood will celebrate Military Appreciation Month in May 2026 by offering free veterinary care for the pets of active-duty, retired military, and veterans’ families in Gwinnett County! Care includes wellness visits or spay/neuter surgery.

Program Details:
  • Available for active, retired military, veterans’ families and members of their household
  • Gwinnett County residents only
  • Up to 2 pets per household
  • Appointments required
  • $35 booking deposit required and is fully refunded at time of visit
  • Valid military ID requested (we will work with you if unavailable)
  • Pets may be declined for services based on health or safety concerns as determined by the veterinarian.
