Free Microchips for Residents of Cherokee County

Cherokee County Animal Shelter offers free pet microchips for pet owners who reside in Cherokee County. Microchips are available during regular business hours - Tuesday through Saturday 10am - 4pm.
No appointments. Walk-ins are welcome. Pet must be on a leash or in a secure carrier.

  2. Training your cat is a responsibility that comes with being a responsible canine pet parent. According to PetCareRx, continuous responsibility for pet owners is dog training. Cats must be trained in order for them to know what to do because they do not arrive knowing how we would like them to act.
